See the World Famous Giant Redwoods Without the Crowds!
Create beautiful nature art prints during our walk among the iconic redwood groves of Marin. Pick-up and drop off at the Sausalito ferry landing (a 30-minute ferry ride from San Francisco's Ferrry Building) included. Walks depart at 9:30AM on weekdays or noon weekends (reservations required). If driving, you can also meet us in Mill Valley's Old Mill Park at 10AM weekdays and 12:30 weekends.This refreshing hike is a wonderful way to see these ancient trees in a primeval creekside setting. and your "sunprints" capture the natural beauty of the forest's plants! Your guide is a native San Franciscans and Marin local with a deep knowledge of the region's natural areas and the ecology of redwood trees and expertise in the art of cyanotypes.
MEETING TIME / PLACE: For weekday walks, if you are leaving from San Francisco, you will need to take the 7:40AM Sausalito Ferry, which departs from the San Francisco Ferry Building at the foot of Market St. We meet you near the Sausalito Ferry Terminal outside the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, 22 El Portal at 9:30AM. We will shuttle to our trailhead from here. If driving, it's best to meet at 10AM
in Mill Valley's Old Mill Park near the restrooms/drinking water fountain. Weekend walks meet at 12 noon in Sausalito and 12:30PM in Mill Valley.

HIKE RATING: A moderately strenuous stroll on quiet backroads and lush, fern-lined footpaths in a redwood forest. Good walking shoes are recommended.
